ACS was formed in 1995 by Stuart Scheu.  Our exclusive business is to provide architectural metal roofing, fabrication and related products throughout the Upper Midwest.  With a background in installation of metal roofing and commercial exteriors, we also have the knowledge and ability to do consulting work in these areas.

What is Architectural Metal Roofing?

Architectural metal roofing differs from industrial metal roofing in that it features a heavier gauge metal; typically 24ga.  It also utilizes better base metal (G-90 galvanized or Galvalume), better paint (Hylar 5000® / Kynar 500® PVDF resin-based coating or finish) and uses concealed fasteners.

Architectural metal roofing “floats” on the roof, typically using clips that allow it to expand and contract, as opposed to exposed fasteners that pin it in place.

Our Services are Totally Portable

All of our services can be performed on the job site.  The best roof panel is one continuous length, reaching from eave to ridge.  Job-site roll-forming allows us to get longer panels onto the roof in one piece.  For very long panels we can often make them by “shooting” the panel up the roof.  We can also fabricate at our shop and deliver on our truck, ship via common carrier, or the customer can pick up the finished material.
